Hello, I'm Naomi.

I was just sat on the bus reading Death Note and 'Orca' approached me when I jumped off, which I'm sure he wouldn't have done had my post arrived on time this morning (because then I would have been reading Junjou Romantica and most people fear the yaoi fangirl) and he told me to come here...I was swayed by him liking L. If he had have said anything bad about L, I would have run away.

Anyway, since it's practically the end of the year, he told me not to join until next year but I should join here. I pretty much do as I'm told.

I guess I should say some stuff...

I prefer manga but I watch the occasional anime (right now I'm watching Durarara!!). Anime wise, I like Trigun, Gungrave, Chobits, Paranoia Agent, Gravitation, Junjou Romantica, Ouran High School Host Club, Lucky Star...and others but I sense I will fill up this box. As for manga, I am currently obsessed with Vassalord and Death Note.

I'm also a pretty big gamer. I have way too many games and consoles. I adore Final Fantasy and Resident Evil....okay, I'm actually obsessed with both of those and if you talk to me for more than 5 minutes, you'd discover that. I also adore Persona 4, Phoenix Wright, Gears Of War...again, I could go on forever.

Oh and I play World of Warcraft. My blood elf is wonderful :3

Should I mention uni? No, the course I do is super boring and I'm only at university because I have no desire to work yet.

So uh, yeah, if someone would tell me when I should properly join or whatever, that would be wonderful.

generally join whenever you want just keep check on the forums for the rooms for the meets etc. you could come this Friday if you want although its probably gunna be a social to go watch the film Kick Ass but its a nice way to get acquainted with everyone anyhow if you need anything just PM me, Zero_angel or Raptor if you cant find rooms etc. and you can get a personal escort other than that enjoy your time here and watch out for Gog he likes to dance with people (you will get that joke in a while )

Sadly, I was busy on Friday...okay, I was playing FFXIII all day except for the moment where I rushed into uni to hand in my options form. But omg that picture of L is adorable.

And thanks for the welcomes everyone. I actually haven't paid any sort of membership thing at the union yet...basically, I've never joined any sort of club at mmu because I get really nervous in social situations with people i don't know so someone is going to have to help me with all this ;_;

Also, wth is wrong with blood elves? Gah, I hate replying to introduction topics because I always feel awkward if I haven't responded to something someone has said.

Not going to lie though, the sound of this dancing person scares me, mainly because I don't dance unless I've had a few too many.

I've had to fix my connection at least six times today... but hey, at least it's working SOME of the time..

If you would prefer to know a some people before turning up the meetings, I would recormend picking a couple of choice forum goers and pm-ing them with msn requests or something. Then you have weeks of casual chatting time before any pressure...
Don't forget, most of us are like you... I made this society for express reason of catering for the geek shy culture, which is partly why we're so few in number ^_^;

Well, I've always been a fan of Yellow, despite what the critics say but a personal recent favourite is one called 'A Sex Therapist'. The artwork and plot are to die for. Another is Gakuen Heaven but if anyone mentions that near me, I will just talk for hours about it...

And Sombre, I don't read any of the stuff involving kids and the ones I read...well, it's pretty obvious they are adults.

I've read Yellow, though haven't got round to Yellow 2 yet- I loved it. I own one manga for Gakuen Heaven, and have played bits and bobs of the game (I've seen all the CG's for it already, teehee) I've never got round to watching the anime yet... Maybe I shall =]

My personal favourites are Togainu no Chi (the visual novel, although the manga is cool, and I cannot WAIT for the anime!) and anything by Mishima Kazuhiko because her art is GORGEOUS. All her stories are really fun, too.

Have you read anything by Yoneda Kou? Her art is absolutely gorgeous. She writes a lot of Katekyo Hitman REBORN! doujinshi too.

Oh yeah, I actually downloaded the Gakuen Heaven game. I had no idea what was going on but pretty pictures would pop up occasionally. I wish they'd hurry up and translate the other ones, all we have in English are the Hideaki Nakajima one (which is my fave one) and the King one ;_;

I don't think I really have a favourite mangaka. I should really figure whose work I always read. But I googled Yoneda Kou and yes, I recognise her stuff. I think I have some thing by her on my external.

And you should read it. It's to die for... but then again, I have pleanty to recommend. I was reading a hilarious one recently about this guy who fantasises about a delivery man and hahaha, it was amazing but it isn't finished yet.

Yoneda Kou's art is really distinctive, so it's easy to tell her work. The first one I read by her was 'Doushitemo Furetakunai', which is also one of my favourites. I've also listened to the Drama CD many, many times...

Eee, hopefully you've finished A Sex Therapist by now. There is one panel in chapter 1 (I think) that just made me die. It was just wonderful.

And the delivery man one is called Oku-San's Daily Fantasies. Liquid Passion are translating it and it's still being done but the 4 chapters that are done...they are beyond epic.

I have not read Under Grand Hotel...but I shall go and look it up now.
